2. Receive a digital gift certificate. The certificate will contain a code that can be redeemed in our online store for a product of choice*.
3. Give the certificate to the person of your choice.
4. The person with the code can redeem the gift certificate value in our online store.
*Please be advised that a discount code can only be redeemed if the order value is of the same or higher value than the gift certificate code. The code can currently not be applied for purchases using the emission calculators. However, you can use the calculators to learn about your emissions and then offset your calculated amount directly through the project of your choice here. Thank you for your understanding.
CarbonBuddy Gift Certificate
Buy a CarbonBuddy Offset Gift Certificate and give it to a friend or family member. You will receive an email that contains a printable gift certificate containing a unique code that can be redeemed in the CarbonBuddy online store for up to 5 years after its purchase. Offset projects can be chosen at the time, the voucher is redeemed*.
This is the perfect gift for a birthday or Christmas to help someone you care for mitigate his/her emissions and become the #solutiontoclimatechange.
With a US$25 gift certificate someone can offset around 220gal of gasoline, 2700kWh of
electricity or 9 hours of flight time**.
*Please be advised that a discount code can only be redeemed if the order value is of the same or higher value than the gift certificate. Thus, it might be better
to rather get two small certificates instead of one large one. At the moment, gift certificates can only be redeemed directly at the projects and not through the emission
