The Story:
Hawai'i Wildlife Fund, Hawai'i Department of Land and Natural Resources (DAR + DOFAW), Hui Loko, The Nature Conservancy, and National Park Service co-hosted this event about research, management, conservation and culture of anchialine ecosystems in Hawai'i (and around the world). Attendees came from Hawai'i Island (75), O'ahu (19), Texas (9), Maui (2), New York (2), California (2), Italy (2), Croatia (2), Washington (1), Kaua'i (1), Oregon (1), Massachusetts (1), Mexico (1) and Canada (1).
